The morning of my sister-in-law’s wedding I was able to capture some of the getting ready photos before heading off to document another wedding of The Studio’s!

Emelia and Sebastian are big formula drift fans! They moved their wedding date on me to accommodate the drift schedule. I had a wedding scheduled the day of their wedding but was still able to hang out some in the morning!

I was so happy my studio wedding started late enough in the day for me to spend some time with the family before welcoming Sebastian and Avery into the family. You can check out their proposal story at Columbia Tower HERE!

Family was in from out of state and everyone showed up to help get ready! Grandma Ruth helped with flowers, Hilary was on makeup, Sammy on hair. Lisa was finishing up sugar cookies for the reception and I think everyone enjoyed the morning with calm smiles.

Emelia’s bridesmaids came from all over. I thought it was so sweet of them to make the trip from out of state for her big day!

Congratulations to Emelia, Sebastian, and Avery on your new family!

Makeup: Hilary Ann Wood

Venue: Seattle LDS Temple

Hair: Sammy’s Styles

Dress: David’s

A little family Wellman Update dump. Morning! I’ve struggled coming back in to write lately. I abandoned my last post in tears over the current state of The Studio. My camera bag was stolen about a year ago. Everything I’ve photographed in 2024 has been on rented equipment. Being abandoned with the children with zero […]

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]
