I peeked out my window to an overcast Washington day. My Pacific Northwest Photographer heart skipped a beat knowing a mid day ceremony would have even light. Wind is romantic, and rain? Rain we can handle. Some day, I’ll be equipped to professionally photograph a ceremony in the pouring down rain. When that day comes…I have no words. ♥
That would not be the story for Shellie and Chaz at Trinity Tree Farm Barn. In Issaquah, Washington on July 7th, 2018, the clouds would be present enough for even light. Speckled blue reminded us all of a true western Washington wedding. The getting ready room was a small cabin complete with kitchen, cozy bathroom, and plenty of seating. The groomsmen had free range of the grounds. They finished setting up decor before heading to the grooms suite. The Trinity Tree Farm Barn Groomsmen Suite was one of my favorites! They had a shuffle board, pool table, large wrap around couch, and a balcony view of guests arriving.
PinkaBella Cupcakes were my favorite wedding cupcakes I have ever had. This is a big deal. I am very particular about cake density and ESPECIALLY frosting textures. I know its so much personal preference but these cupcakes were ON POINT. They arrived to set up the cupcake tower a couple hours before the ceremony and did an amazing job.
The ceremony could not have been more perfect. I love when my couples sign their marriage certificates as a part of the ceremony. Doing this makes everything feel so official in the moment rather than saving more legalities for the reception. Play a little background music while everyone signs and it truly completes the ceremony.
Cue It Up Entertainment went above and beyond in so many ways. I feel we worked well together. He had this idea at the beginning of the reception to play a song, “Freeze Frame”, and challenged the guests to do a table photo with the bride and groom at each table before the song’s completion. The bride and groom had a photo with every guest at the reception in less than four minutes. It was amazing.
The Trinity Tree Farm was a wonderful venue! I would love to come back in the winter.
Thank you so much, Chaz and Shellie, for inviting Sincerely Jaclynn Photography to document your wedding day! I loved every detail, each family member, all the stories shared and each vendor! ♥
