Wild Hearts Farm Engagement Session | Mindy & Zach

Feb

06

Mindy was referred to me by a recent bride/groom and friends of mine, Tabbie & Mitch! She sent me an email and booked an engagement session right away! A couple weeks later we met at Tabbie & Mitch’s wedding! It was so funny to be at a wedding and have a couple of the guests introduce themselves as my “August 7th Couple”. I was cracking up big time! How crazy! Puts an entire new meaning to wedding guests being “potential future clients”….when they already could be your future clients without you even knowing!

Like most of my couples these days (seriously the stigma is gone you guys. I promise.), Mindy and Zach met through technology, and then in person! They hit it off right away and even met through the same app as their friends Tabbie & Mitch!

Mindy & Zach will be having a small elopement style wedding in Vegas and as much as I wanted to beg to tag along……(Someone bring me back to Vegas!!!!!) I was so grateful for the opportunity to have them as an Engagement Couple. I don’t get many “Engagement Only” couple’s that don’t lead to weddings these days so it was fun getting to know each other and I am so excited to see some of their Vegas Wedding Photos pop up later this Fall!

I have been doing allot of my Tacoma Portrait Sessions at Wild Hearts Farm in Tacoma, WA lately. This place is a serious gem I’m working hard to get out of hiding. EVERY ONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!!

This place is a serious gem I’m working hard to get it out of hiding. EVERY ONE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT WILD HEARTS FARM!!!! I am absolutely in love with this location and it’s only the beginning for this photographer’s paradise! They have partnered up with Berge’s Blooms , a Tacoma Local Florist, to create BEAUTIFUL gardens and create ideal backdrops and areas for photography of all genres. I will be hosting a styled shoot for local photographer’s here next Monday and look forward to running mini sessions here this November! (PM/Email me if you’d like to be the first to know about these mini holiday sessions!).

I hate to say I benefited from such tragedy, but I have a handful of sessions photographed during the wildfires at their peek this Summer where the light is just amazing. The fires made for GORGEOUS sunsets and a warm pink sun that would have complimented any skin tone. I am obsessed with these colors and so happy I had two back to back sessions here on this particular weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS to Mindy & Zach! I am so grateful to have been the photographer to document such a special time for the both of you and can’t wait to see your Engagement Announcements and which photos are YOUR favorites!

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]

Hey, Mommas. Take a look at your babies now. Go ahead. Just take a quick peek. They grow. Today was a bit exhausting, wasn’t it? There were moments of things never being quite perfect. You tried your best and showed up in every way you could possibly think to and still, you fell short in […]
