After an amazing Maternity Session and Fresh 48, it was finally time to close out the Bridge’s “New Baby Portrait Trio” with Jordan’s Newborn Session! Kayela opted to have Jordan’s session in their home. I brought my travel studio and set up in the living room. We also took some great portraits by a window! Windows make for some of the best light for Newborns. Between Hospital Rooms and Home Sessions, I’m so grateful for big windows!
The beautiful quilt pictured was a gift to Jordan and so beautifully made! I always love incorporating special gifts and heirlooms into newborn sessions.
I had recently taken a course on creative infant swaddling and I love how his swaddles turned out! I’m so excited to get better and better at beautiful swaddling techniques!
Kayela & Austin have recently moved to a larger home to accommodate their growing family. Kayela wasted no time getting some of her favorite portraits on the wall! She even sent me a photo of her home print gallery. I’m so excited to see the second wall she’s working on when it’s done.
There is something so special about working with return clients season after season. It’s so nice to arrive to a shoot with all familiar faces and get right into it with no awkward “I wonder how these are going to turn out” vibes in the air. Everyone present already knows exactly what to expect and it’s a beautiful thing! I couldn’t be more excited to have more of my brides and Momma’s returning to SJP!
A huge THANK YOU to the Bridge family for being some of the earliest supporters of SJP! Congratulations on Baby #2 and thank you again for sharing sweet Jordan Charles with me. ♥
