I can not iterate enough how blessed I have been this wedding season with my line up of couples! They have all been so wonderful to work with. Betty & Sam made a last minute venue change to a brand new wedding venue in Buckley, Washington. After this wedding, The Five2Five has made my top ten list of favorite venues in Washington! I absolutely love this place and the amazing people who are running it! Lisa, Courtney, & Karley are an amazing team. The landscape is so well cared for and the renovations on this beautiful old church are spot on.
Betty and Sam had a friend officiate and you would never know he wasn’t a public speaker full time. His ceremony write up was perfection and everyone agreed! The cake was also made by a friend, Kylee Schurmann, and holy smoke did she do an amazing job. It’s one of my favorite cakes this year! She also made the best sugar cookies I have EVER had. I had to track her down for the recipe and I will seriously go out and buy the ingredients the minute she sends it to me! Every wedding I’m finding Etsy to be the go-to source for 2018 brides! If you’re planning a wedding and need some custom details, Etsy is the place to be.
Betty’s flowy gown was from New Beginnings Bridal Studio. I’ve worked with countless brides whose dress came from New Beginnings and they all have nothing but good things to say!
Here’s a surprising one! Haggens Grocery in Lakeland Hills did all of the flowers! Flower crowns and all of the bouquets. I was absolutely expecting a boutique florist but Haggen knocked it out of the park.

D.J. Suave threw an awesome party and had everyone dancing until close! His set up always looks so professional and he brings the most fun lighting!
The way Betty’s daughter, Amelia, was incorporated into the ceremony and entire day had everyone misty eyed and so filled with love. I balled during toasts like they were my own family (what’s new? I love you guys all so much!) CONGRATULATIONS to Betty, Sam, and Amelia on your legally joined family! This was the most amazing day and I can’t wait to complete your gallery over the next few weeks!
