I am so excited to finally be sharing the Salon Brand Photography photos I took for Love Your Haiir Co.‘s brand new salon in Olympia, Washington!

I met Breanna, owner of Love Your Haiir Co. at the very first wedding I ever photographed. Ever since then, we’ve been steadily growing our companies and supporting each other along the way! Over time, she’s become one of my best friends.

On February 1st, I announced the opening of The Studio and Print Lab. That night, she was at the studio, Rosè and glasses in hand, to celebrate with me! She also told me the exciting news that she was working toward having her very own studio as well!!! I was so excited for her.

When Covid hit mid March, I was worried it would throw a wrench in her plans but I think it did just the opposite. The world pausing for a minute seemed to just propel her plans into overdrive. I am so impressed by what Breanna was able to accomplish while the world was paused.

Fast forward and she was finally able to start taking clients again! With tight regulations in place, her calendar is FULL of customers excited to have their hair freshened up! A couple weeks after these were taken, I brought the boys and Clynn over for hair cuts, too!

The space is so perfectly Bree and couldn’t be more on brand. Her Dad made the trip from Minnesota to help put everything together. They truly did such an amazing job!! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Love Your Haiir Co. and am so so happy to see Bree’s Salon Flourishing during tough times for so many.

You’re an inspiration, Bree!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! I can’t wait for all of our weddings together this year! ♥ The Salon looks AMAZING!

A little family Wellman Update dump. Morning! I’ve struggled coming back in to write lately. I abandoned my last post in tears over the current state of The Studio. My camera bag was stolen about a year ago. Everything I’ve photographed in 2024 has been on rented equipment. Being abandoned with the children with zero […]

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]
