Madeline & John married at the Wellspring Spa in Ashford, Wa!

This is the first post where I pulled from the couples favorites for their blog post! I typically choose my favorites, but Maddie and I seem to have similar taste. 🙂

Clynn was hired to be the second photographer. I was extra grateful for him at this beautiful and spread out venue! The ceremony site to the reception site to the cabins is a few minutes walk. He really helped us cover the full party!

Wellspring Spa accommodates the wedding party and some guests to stay the night as they are also an overnight spa. They have multiple cozy cabins on site for overnight stays. I absolutely love venues that accommodate overnight stays! This allows for plenty of set-up time and everyone to spend time together without having to “clear out”. It also means you save clean up for the next morning so you can enjoy your full wedding day!

Madeline and John are adventurous and drove Clynn and I up to Paradise after their first look for couples portraits! We were a little worried at first because the fog was so so thick. It turned out to be a pretty cool effect in the images. Also, the sun burned it off towards the end of couple’s portraits!

After Paradise and the beautiful venue…and Madeline’s dress that looks like it was designed for her, my next favorite detail was definitely Maddie & John’s first dance! Holy smoke. They practiced it in their living room during quarantine and it paid off! I’m so happy someone was taking video, too!

We can’t wait to see your Pastel Sage Linen with Gold Lettering wedding album come together over the next couple months. ♥ It’s going to be perfect!

CONGRATULATIONS, Maddie & John!!!

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]

Hey, Mommas. Take a look at your babies now. Go ahead. Just take a quick peek. They grow. Today was a bit exhausting, wasn’t it? There were moments of things never being quite perfect. You tried your best and showed up in every way you could possibly think to and still, you fell short in […]
