The Sanders Estate Wedding Photos | Sandra & Tim

Jan

18

Visiting the Sanders Estate in Kent, Washington was such a pleasant surprise! I call this the Narnia of wedding venues. A turn between two lights you would miss if you didn’t know it was there leads to a woodline and a closed solid wooden gate. After getting beeped in, those gates open to stunning landscape, beautiful antique architecture, fountains, garden swings, and even a venue pet SWAN who makes his way from one beautiful pond to the next. I would photograph another wedding here in a HEARTBEAT and I sincerely hope I do!

Sandra added so many DIY and stunning details to her’s and Tim’s special day. Sandra’s family was not able to make it as she is from Brazil, but they were able to make a morning phone call right before tying the knot and visited all of her family just a couple months after the wedding. Tim’s family stepped in big time with an honorary Mother of the Bride for a day, a full bridal party, an honorary father figure for the father daughter dance, and so so much support and love.

Dani Jean Photography came to second shoot and also helped the mother of the groom with her hair! I can not rave about this girl enough you guys, she does it all!

Enjoy all of the pretty mermaid details, gorgeous venue, BUTTERFLY RELEASE, sparkler exit, and the most hilarious “first kiss” I’ve ever photographed! — Wait, let me tell this story. Imagine “You may kiss the bride” but you just got an amazing lipstick job done by your makeup artist and you still have photos! haha, the instantaneous urge to protect the face before family photos kicked in and the pull away was unforgettable. lol, My dear brides, don’t forget your touch up makeup!!! I recommend purchasing your wedding day touch up lipstick or gloss. The kissing should be unhindered on your wedding day! –Now go on. Enjoy all the prettiness!

Best of wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs. So excited to see their wedding canvas & album arrive later this month! Stay tuned on the Sincerely Jaclynn Instagram Story for a peek at those!

A little family Wellman Update dump. Morning! I’ve struggled coming back in to write lately. I abandoned my last post in tears over the current state of The Studio. My camera bag was stolen about a year ago. Everything I’ve photographed in 2024 has been on rented equipment. Being abandoned with the children with zero […]

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]
