Easton Washington Wedding

I get so excited every time I book a wedding at Cabin Creek Lodge. This large but intimate venue is nestled back in the mountains of Easton, Washington. It’s completely hands off by the owners and requires a two night minimum booking. My clients typically arrive with their friends and family to set up the day before and enjoy a cozy cabin evening with everyone from out of town BEFORE the big day! This means everyone has already had their hugs and began creating lasting memories the day before I arrive creating a relaxed and fun environment on the wedding day. Inquire to book HERE! They’re typically booked a year or so out, so you’ll want to be on top of things to luck out on this venue.

I have more to blog from this event space, but you can view one of the previous weddings I’ve photographed at this location, HERE!

Prior to their wedding day, Emily, Emett, and I had only met via Facetime or Zoom for their 30 Day Prior! (Tips on wedding day time management HERE!) I felt right at home so quickly. They had a wonderful day of coordinator who helped everything run smoothly. It’s always nice working at a venue I’m familiar with and knowing my way around right away.

We started with a first look, couples portraits, and a few family photos. Then, ceremony, more family photos, and a couple hours for toasts and dinner!

Congratulations, Emily & Emett! The Studio loved working on this wedding gallery with you and wish you all the love and success!

A little family Wellman Update dump. Morning! I’ve struggled coming back in to write lately. I abandoned my last post in tears over the current state of The Studio. My camera bag was stolen about a year ago. Everything I’ve photographed in 2024 has been on rented equipment. Being abandoned with the children with zero […]

Early October I got to experience an adventurous and romantic Swiss Autumn with my long distance partner. We traveled deep into the Swiss mountains, ate all the yummy food, met old friends, went to a dance party, made some new friends, enjoyed a private sauna with an impressive view, took naps, snuggled, and went on […]

We have to get a little creative here with our PNW Photojournalism. One of the first things you learn as a new natural light photographer is how incredible a big window can make any room look. A tiny corner in the most unassuming place, if sitting close to a window can produce the most magical […]

Tonight, I took the boys to the Everett Haunted Harbor community event! Everyone putting it on was so sweet and we all had a blast! Thank you to all the boat volunteers! We started with trick or treating at the boats, watching witches paddle board around the harbor, petting all the neighbor dogs, and watched […]
